WHEN THE CITY DREAMS
Parallel Reality / Coexistence
This part of the project explores how animation can exist alongside the real world.
A man walking in front of the mural or the busy streets becomes part of the composition blending real human motion with animated imagery. The work presents animation as a parallel reality living beside the physical world occupying the same space and time without replacing it.
Below are the images I took out of the base video before animating.

Not So Still Life /
Self-Existence
This part of the project focuses on the animated image itself. Motion unfolds within a fixed surface, drawing attention to subtle shifts, rhythm, and internal movement.
The composition remains contained and uninterrupted, allowing the animation to be experienced as a complete visual state. Stillness and motion exist together, creating a quiet tension within the frame.

AI-Assisted Manipulation /
Digital Alteration
This body of work combines manual animation with selective AI assistance. The base video and primary animations are created by the artist, while certain elements are refined using AI tools to enhance smoothness, continuity, and production efficiency.
AI is not used to generate the work in full. Instead, it supports specific moments within the animation, assisting with transitions, motion refinement, and visual consistency. The creative direction, structure, and core visual language remain human-led.

Animation process /
What is Existence?
Here is a short glimpse into how I create animations that blend into real life. I was not able to document every animated detail, as some parts were not recorded during the process. However, you can still see how the scenes are tracked and how the animations are brought to life as the camera moves.
I hope you enjoyed both the process and the final result. also a little teaser of stripping down the image is here.
